Coinciding with the launch of the podcast audio drama series AKIHA DEN DEN, this limited edition 7” vinyl features the theme and incidental music by Simon James, with vocals by Debbie Clare.

The six-part series is available online from 15th September 2016 (akihadenden.com / iTunes)

A mysterious voice has been picked up by a radio ham – it's the voice of a girl trapped in an abandoned amusement park called Akiha Den Den. Soon it becomes clear there's a whole community there – whose words and music become woven into a mesmerising plea for help.

The dovetailing of the words written by Neil Cargill with Simon's unique sound design promises to make this series a mesmerising listen – with all manner of electronics called into play in the music, including Buchla Electric Music Box and the classic Oberheim 4 Voice synthesiser featured in this release.

Castles in Space is delighted to be part of this exciting project. This record is Simon’s first vinyl release since the well received “Oracles” E.P. by Black Channels, released last year on Death Waltz Originals. The record is pressed in a limited edition of just 50 clear vinyl copies.
